Founder, Southern Psychiatry
Renee McCormack, a healthcare professional on the Emerald Coast since 2005, founded Southern Psychiatry in 2019 to address the mental health needs of older adults in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. With a passion for geriatric psychiatry and a collaborative approach, she works closely with families, caregivers, and staff to provide personalized, compassionate care.
Under Renee’s leadership, Southern Psychiatry has grown into a thriving practice, known for its commitment to high-quality care and innovative solutions for complex cases. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters in Florida’s Panhandle.
