Her journey began in critical care nursing and evolved into a specialized focus on psychiatric care. In 2011, Renee transitioned to her role as a Nurse Practitioner, ultimately founding Southern Psychiatry in 2019 to address the unique mental health needs of older adults in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. With a deep passion for geriatric psychiatry and psychopharmacology, Renee works collaboratively with families, caregivers, and facility staff to deliver personalized, compassionate care.
